(Proverbs 4:7 NIV) The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

(Proverbs 3:5 NLT) Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

( Psalm 31:6-9 MSG ) ‘I hate all this silly religion, but you, God , I trust. I’m leaping and singing in the circle of your love; you saw my pain, you disarmed my tormentors, You didn’t leave me in their clutches but gave me room to breathe.

1. Growing RELATIONSHIP builds TRUST.
(Psalm 9:10 NLT) Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you.

( 2 Peter 1:3 MSG) ‘Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received!

2. Let DECISIONS lead and FEELINGS follow.

(Proverbs 8:10-12 NLT) Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold. For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it. “I, Wisdom, live together with good judgment. I know where to discover knowledge and discernment. Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.

(Psalm 25:12 NIV) Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.

3. Learn to LEAN IN.

(James 4:7-8 NLT) So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. …

(Isaiah 26:3-4 MSG) . . . People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole, Steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don’t quit. Depend on God and keep at it because in the Lord God you have a sure thing.

√ The more I TRUST, the more I RESPOND.

(John 10:27 NLT) My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
