(Hebrews 12:1 NIV) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,
(Genesis 6:5-9 NIV) The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created–and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground–for I regret that I have made them.”But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD. …… Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.
(Genesis 6:12 NIV) God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.
√ One PERSON is all it takes.
√ When you don’t SEES IT, GOD ALWAYS sees it.
(Hebrews 11:7 NIV) By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
(2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV) For we live by faith, not by sight. (PAUL WAS IN MIDDLE OF TALKING ABOUT PREFERRING TO BE WITH GOD IN HEAVEN)
√ YOUR favor will find your FAMILY.
(Genesis 6:8 NIV) But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD. FAVOR=GRACE
(Acts 16:31 NIV) …”Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.”
√ God not only wants you, He NEEDS YOU.
(Ezekiel 22:30 ESV) And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.
√ “Don’t be afraid of the SPOT LIGHT.”
(Proverbs 29:25 NIV) Fear of man will prove to be a snare, (TAKE EYES OFF OF GOD) but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
(Luke 12:4 NIV) “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more.
√ “There is no such thing as PARTIAL OBEDIENCE.”
(Genesis 6:22 NIV) Noah did everything just as God commanded him.
(Genesis 7:5 NIV) And Noah did all that the LORD commanded him.
(1 Samuel 15:22 NIV) ….. To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
√ “You must truly believe His promise, HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU.”
(Genesis 8:8-9 NIV) Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.
(Genesis 8:11 NIV) When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.
(Matthew 28:20 NLT) …. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
