(John 17:15-16 NLT) I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do.

√ We either SET culture or REFLECT culture.
(Genesis 11:4 NLT) Then they said, “Come, let’s build a great city for ourselves with a tower that reaches into the sky. This will make us famous . .

(Isaiah 47:8-10 NLT) “Listen to this, you pleasure-loving kingdom, living at ease and feeling secure. You say, ‘I am the only one, and there is no other.I will never be a widow or lose my children.’. . . “ You felt secure in your wickedness. ‘No one sees me,’ you said. But your ‘wisdom’ and ‘knowledge’ have led you astray, and you said, ‘I am the only one, and there is no other.’

√ Culture’s Call “I AM what matters.”

√ Elevating SELF.

• Self – ADORING, • Self BUILDING• Self INDULGING

√ Lowering GOD.

• God doesn’t LOVE ME,  • God isn’t FOR ME,  • God wants TOO MUCH FROM ME.

(Nehemiah 4:14 NLT). . . said to them, “Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”

A FIGHT PLAN

1. Right RELATIONSHIPS.
(Proverbs 13:20 NLT) Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.
(Psalm 92:12-13 NLT) But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong. . . For they are transplanted to the LORD’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.

2. God’s DESIGN.
(Acts 17:26-27 NLT) From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and hedeterminedtheir boundaries. “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him–though he is not far from any one of us.

3. OTHERS first.
(Philippians 2:3-5 NLT) Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

4. Demonstrate AUTHENTIC FAITH.
(Matthew 15:8-9 NLT) ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.'”

(Matthew 7:21-23 NIV) “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’  Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
