(Ephesians 6:18 GW) Pray in the Spirit in every situation. Use every kind of prayer and request there is.

(1 Corinthians 6:19 NLT) Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,

1. Give GOD THANKS.

(Psalm 100:4 NIV) Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

(Hebrews 12:28 NLT) Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful . . .

2. Focus on the HIS SACRIFICE.
(Romans 5:6 NLT) When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
(1 Peter 2:24 NLT) He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.

3. OFFER God every part of MY LIFE.
(Romans 12:1 NLT) … I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice–the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

(Acts 1:8 NLT) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. . . .

4. Invite the HOLY SPIRIT to work in my life.
(2 Timothy 1:6-7 NLT) This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

(Psalm 5:8 NLT) Lead me in the right path, O LORD, or my enemies will conquer me. Make your way plain for me to follow.

5. Pray His PROMISES.
(Matthew 4:4 NIV)
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”

(Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT) Put on all of God’s armor. . . take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And Pray …

(2 Corinthians 2:15 NLT) Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. . .

6. WORSHIP His Name.
(Proverbs 18:10 NLT)
The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe.
(Psalm 95:6-7 NLT) Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. ..

7. PRAY for others.
(1 Timothy 2:1-2 NIV) I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
(James 5:16 NLT) . . . The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
