(Hebrews 12:2 NKJV) looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of [our] faith…

DECISIONS I MAKE TODAY DETERMINE THE STORIES I WILL TELL TOMORROW.
(Jeremiah 1:5 NLT) I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb…

1. START –> a discipline today that changes your life

2. STOP — > something that detracts, allows excuse, or puts your relationship w\ God secondary

3. STAY –> sticking it out STAYING WHEN IT WOULD BE WAY EASIER TO JUST LEAVE

4. GO –> faith step –> staying put when its easy to just keep things the way they are.

WHERE DOES GOD WANT YOU TO STAY?

Sometimes the BEST & the HARDEST thing to do is STICK IT OUT.

*Worldly view get OUT while GETTING is good.

(RUTH 1:9 NLT) May the LORD bless you with the security of another marriage.” Then she kissed them good-bye, and they all broke down and wept.

vs.14 And again they wept together, and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law good-bye. But Ruth clung tightly to Naomi. –> ORPAH TOOK OFF, RUTH HELD TIGHTLY,  SHE WAS JUSTIFIED TO LEAVE, Permitted

vs. 15 “Look,” Naomi said to her, “your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods. You should do the same.”

vs. 16 Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.

(RUTH 2:11-12 NLT) Yes, I know,” Boaz replied. “But I also know about everything you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband. I have heard how you left your father and mother and your own land to live here among complete strangers. 12May the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge, reward you fully for what you have done.”

STAYING PUT WHEN EVERYTHING SAYS RUN….

√ You don’t always get SUNSHINE & RAINBOWS. –> CHALLENGE OF FLESH
(GALATIANS 6:7-9 NLT) you can’t mock God. You will always harvest what you plant. … So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

WHAT TO DO WHILE SEEDS ARE GROWING…..
1. Refuse to be DISCOURAGED.
2. Determine to keep faith ALIVE & ACTIVE.

√ Be willing to ARGUE with a STOP SIGN. –> CHALLENGE OF FAITH
(HEBREWS 11:1-2 MSG) 1-2 The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see.

(JAMES 1:3 NLT) 3For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

(JAMES 1:5-7 NLT) 5If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

√ Put a BUBBLE in it.  SIT, ZIP IT, WATCH, & LISTEN
(Psalm 37:6-8, 23 NLT) 6He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. 7Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act.  Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. 8Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm…. 23The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

(Hebrews 10:36 NLT) 36Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
