(Hebrews 12:2 MSG) Keep your eyes on Jesus , who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line?
(Job 40:3-4 NLT) Then Job replied to the LORD, “I am nothing–how could I ever find the answers? I will cover my mouth with my hand.
(Job 42:1-5 NLT) Then Job replied to the LORD: “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you. You asked, ‘Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance?’ It is I–and I was talking about things I knew nothing about, things far too wonderful for me. You said, ‘Listen and I will speak! I have some questions for you, and you must answer them.’ I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes.
√ God is ALL-POWERFUL. •OMNIPOTENT•
(Colossians 1:16-17 MSG) For everything, absolutely everything, . . . everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment.
** I’d rather have hope in an all powerful God THAN, Certainty in a VERY limited me.
√ God is ALL-KNOWING. •OMNISCIENT•
(Hebrews 4:13 NLT) Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.
** Never be afraid to trust an UNKNOWN FUTURE to an ALL-KNOWING God.
√ God is EVER-PRESENT. •OMNIPRESENT•
(Hebrews 13:5-6 NIV) . . . “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
** When I know GOD IS WITH ME. I can face what ever is AGAINST ME.
(2 Timothy 1:12 NIV) That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, . . .
1. I know that God LOVES ME.
(Lamentations 3:21-22 NIV) Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
2. I know that God wants THE BEST FOR ME.
(Romans 8:31-32 NIV) What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
3. I know that God HAS A PLAN FOR ME.
(Jeremiah 29:11 NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
4. I know that God will BRING ME THROUGH.
(2 Timothy 4:18 NIV) The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
