(Matthew 18:12-14 NLT) “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.
√ We are GOD’S PLAN.
(Matthew 28:18-20 NLT) Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, (TALKING TO US) go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
√ Jesus’s return is WAITING until God’s plan is COMPLETE.
(Matthew 24:14 MSG) . . . the Good news – the Message of the Kingdom – will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come.
(Habakkuk 2:3 NLT) This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
(1 Peter 1:5 NIV) who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
(2 Peter 3:8-11 NIV) But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. (NLT —> THEN) The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives…
1. Every DAY is significant.
(Ephesians 5:15-16 NLT) So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
2. Every ENCOUNTER is an OPPORTUNITY.
(John 13:34-35 MSG) Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.”
3. We are the WORKERS!
(Luke 10:2-3 MSG) . . . “What a huge harvest! And how few the harvest hands. So on your knees; ask the God of the Harvest to send harvest hands. “On your way! But be careful—this is hazardous work. You’re like lambs in a wolf pack.
(2 Corinthians 8:11 NIV) Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means.
