(Matthew 17:14-18 NIV) When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him.
“Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
vs17 “You UNBELIEVING and PERVERSE generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.
√ UNBELIEVING –> LIMITED connection.
√ PERVERSE –> Connect to the WORLD.
(Matthew 17:19-21 NKJV) Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. “However, this kind does not go out except by PRAYER and FASTING.”
√ PRAYER –> connects us to God.
√ FASTING –> disconnects us from the world.
(Genesis 1:26 NKJV)…make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have DOMINION over the fish, birds of the air, over all the earth………”
(LUKE 10:19 NIV) I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
√ Set an OBJECTIVES. What am I expecting to see & experience?
* declare your DEPENDENCE ON GOD &. (ASK FOR FORGIVENESS)
* Refocus on the ETERNAL. #priority1 God’s people. this is about eternity
* Invite God’s PRESENCE in to our lives.
* Specific PRAYER NEEDS.
√ Decide what type of FAST.
√ Expect RESULTS.
(Isaiah 58:8-9 NIV) Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your HEALING will quickly appear; then your RIGHTEOUSNESS (HOLINESS) will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; ….(HELP)
Results will be……
√ HEALING. √ HOLINESS. √ HELP.
