(Genesis 3: 1-6 NLT)
The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the LORD God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied.

“It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.'”
“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.
“God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
The woman was convinced. (OF WHAT). She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.

√  PRIDE changes order.

√ Order determines CAPACITY.

(Matthew 6:31-33 NLT) “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

√  Order communicates PRIORITY.

(Revelation 2:2,4 NLT)
I know all the things you do. I have seen your hard work and your patient endurance. …. “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!

√  Order impacts the REST.

*The first has the power to BLESS THE REST.

(Proverbs 3:6-10 NKJV)

In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase;
So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

(Proverbs 17:24 NLT) Sensible people keep their eyes glued on wisdom, but a fool’s eyes wander to the ends of the earth.

(Proverbs 17:24 GN) “An intelligent person aims at wise action, but a fool starts off in many directions.”

The distance between the truth you KNOW and the truth you LIVE equals the pain you experience.

COULD ALSO SAY THE PAIN WE FEEL IS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN WHERE WE ARE AND WHERE GOD WANTS US TO BE!  SOUND FAMILIAR?

√ Is God your BEGINNING, MIDDLE, & END?

(Revelation 1:8 NLT) “I am the Alpha and the Omega–the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come–the Almighty One.”

√ Decide who rather than what is worthy of WORSHIP.

(Matthew 22:37-40 NLT)

Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’
This is the first and greatest commandment.
A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

√  Make RELATIONSHIPS the priority.

√ Put GOD FIRST.
