√ I have an ASSIGNMENT.
√ When FAITH is private it’s DORMANT.
(2 Corinthians 10:15-16 NIV) Neither do we go beyond our limits by boasting of work done by others. Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, OUR sphere of activity among you will greatly expand, so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you.
(Matthew 5:13 MSG) “Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness?….. ”
√ I SEASON my sphere of influence.
(Matthew 5:16 NIV) …….let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
1. WHY? – Because God so loves the WORLD.
(Luke 15:4-6 NLT) “….Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. …., saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’
2. WHERE? – YOUR world.
(Galatians 6:4 MSG) Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that.
3. HOW? – LISTEN.
(John 10:27 NLT) My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
√ FIND A NEED AND FILL IT, FIND A HURT AND HEAL IT.
